Arthur Huang, Ph.D.

Dr. Arthur Huang is an Associate Professor of Smart Cities at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and an affiliated faculty member with the Rosen College of Hospitality Management and the College of Engineering and Computer Science. His research centers on generative and agentic AI, machine learning, and their influence on organizations and AI-enabled human adaptation. With over 20 years of experience leading interdisciplinary projects, Dr. Huang has directed research funded by the National Science Foundation, VentureWell Foundation, and the American Society for Engineering Education. His work spans spatial modeling and visualization of infrastructure systems, data-driven destination planning and sustainability, and the integration of AI in decision-making systems. A prolific scholar and frequent international speaker, he has published widely in leading journals across AI, machine learning, and hospitality and tourism. He is committed to preparing the next generation of innovators and leaders for an AI-empowered future.

Vishnu Prabhu, Ph.D..

Dr. Vishnu Prabhu is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the School of Modeling, Simulation and Training at the University of Central Florida, where he leads the XR BioSim Lab. His research explores applications of Artificial Intelligence, Extended Reality (VR/AR), and robotics in healthcare, including robotic surgery, multimodal biosensing, and computational modeling to improve patient outcomes. He collaborates with leading healthcare institutions, including Stanford Health Care, Orlando Health, Prisma Health, and CDC NIOSH, bringing real-world innovation to his research. His work spans AI-driven healthcare optimization, digital twin development, surgical simulation, and advanced modeling systems. He is passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators and is excited to share his expertise in AI, robotics, and innovation with future technology leaders.

Mehmet Altin, Ph.D.

Dr. Mehmet Altin is an Associate Professor and researcher specializing in strategic management, business analytics, and revenue management in hospitality and tourism. His research focuses on decision-making under uncertainty, institutional environments, entrepreneurship, and the practical application of AI and analytics in service industries. Using econometric and panel data approaches, he examines how firms and entrepreneurs respond to policy shifts, market shocks, and technological change. Dr. Altin works closely with industry partners to translate analytics into actionable strategy and contributes to leading journals and professional organizations in hospitality and tourism.
